The latest addition to the Local Knowledge service is 'Private Space'. This product is an add-on to the standard Local Knowledge package; in addition to the full range of services provided, Private Space subscribers will have the facility to include their own locally sourced data within the Local Knowledge web platform.

This new feature - bringing national and locally-sourced data together on the same platform, linked to the suite of Local Knowledge analytical tools - provides a cost effective solution to local information management. The Private Space add-on is ideal for clients who do not have the personnel or financial resources to subscribe to our SMART Observatory package; whereas SMART Observatories also allow locally sourced data to be entered into an equivalent Local Knowledge platform, access levels and data uploads are the responsibility of the client. LK Private Space will be maintained by the Local Futures Group, and only requires data to be formatted by clients before being passed onto their Local Futures contact.
